Why work with us
Euro Placements is a personalized recruitment agency based in Italy and the UK that pairs educational specialists and professionals with parents, schools, and institutions, focusing on bilingualism and multilingualism, all the way from infancy to university entry programs.
We have been placing Teachers, Tutors, Nannies with Italian schools and private families for the past 25 years. In the last few years we have since expanded our services to the UK, among other European and American countries. Over the years, we have built up a significant database of active customers. Most of our clients return for additional services, demonstrating that we have earned their confidence and trust.
We would like to discuss what your or your child’s needs are and how we might assist. We care a lot about our Tutors, Teachers, and Nannies, so we seek to find the best placement for them as well, making everyone happy.
I am Gianna Taccone and I lead the Euro Placements Team. My background helps me identify well with families and schools looking to balance and manage the dynamics of a busy lifestyle. I live in a bilingual environment, having a British husband and two children, aged 14 and 11 years old, who are both perfectly bilingual, and are becoming trilingual. Initially faced with what language and culture to pass on to my children, I quickly realized both English and Italian made for a more dynamic household. Speaking one’s native languages to children is ideal, and children brilliantly adapt to multilingual environments. And, in a globalized world, it simply makes the most sense.
After living my entire life in Italy, I recently moved to Wales, and now splits my time in the UK and Italy. Being a working mom, I have a good understanding of many common problems of today’s lifestyle that require a careful balance and management of all parties involved! I bring this sensitivity into my work.
I have experience working in International corporations like Morgan Stanley and Pirelli. Since my first pregnancy I have been working directly with Nannies and Teachers and has been constantly active within the schooling and educational environment. I have a particular interest in the perspectives of parents on bringing up children bilingually, not forgetting the language acquisition in monolingual children and those with Specific Language Impairment.
I am constantly focused on building connections and relationships with educators and educational institutions with parents trying to find the best fit for their children’s needs, academic, social and emotional. I help parents, students, teachers and schools connect to focus on bilingualism and multilingualism, from kindergarten all the way to university entry programs.
I am Scott Alford and I’m a native of Britain. I have been fortunate to have lived at least a third of my life abroad, including Russia, United Arab Emirates, Italy, among other places. I am currently residing again in the UK after living more than a decade in Milan. Throughout my professional life, I continue to build strong ties with international businesses, and frequently travel with work, including when I represent Euro Placements.
With my experience in different industries and projects, I bring to the Euro Placements team a rich background and skill set with a high degree of sensitivity. I often help with cultural brokering, breaking dawn linguistic and cultural barriers to ensure individuals and companies wanting to be represented through Euro Placements are clearly understood and served with the highest respect.
I have been living and working in a multilingual environment for most of my career. I largely work as a consultant in public relations, but my job also crosses over into many aspects of the company.
I am Adelaide Cacace and I joined the Euro Placements team in 2014, but now I work with the home care division, Home Placements.
I graduated in Political Science at the Federico II University of Naples. For the last twenty years, I have lived and worked in Lombardy, Italy. I have a daughter, Francesca and a son, Riccardo. Francesca is attending an International University. When she was in her Italian high school, in her senior year, as part of an exchange program, she has attended a public high school in Michigan, United States, taking her final American diploma. My son Riccardo would also like to participate in an international study experience in the coming years. The fact that they have always practised English has given them this opportunity, something we want to encourage with our clients as well.
I have many years of professional experience as senior accountant with American companies, specializing in quantitative market research. During my work in employment agencies, I was involved with national and multinational companies. While I was president of DCARE, a cooperative that provided services to working individuals and families, I had the opportunity to develop models of corporate welfare aimed at reconciling the work–family time of employees, especially women, within banking companies. I achieved this by providing access to domestic staff, such as nannies and housekeepers.
Also, I co-founded and served as president of a non-profit organization, WAKE UP, which we created to support English education in primary public schools. This critical English exposure made the students stronger academically. Their English continues to give them more opportunity in a globalized world, where knowing English is increasingly important.
