Description: Our client, an international family residing in Milan, is seeking an experienced and dynamic after-school nanny for two boys aged 7 (8 in July) and 4 (5 in June), who attend a British school. There is a 2-year-old boy, but the nanny is required to look after the eldest ones.
This role is ideal for an active and energetic nanny, who has to be aware of their safety.
Key Responsibilities
Before collecting them in school.
Prepare snacks for the afternoon and the family dinner.
Ensure school bags for the extracurricular activities are ready.
Check that the uniforms are ready for the next day.
Room Maintenance: Maintain tidiness and organization in the children’s rooms.
School and Activity Logistics:
– Pick up children from school (the school is walking distance).
– Facilitate and supervise sports, music lessons, or other extracurricular activities. Ensure both children develop their skills in a fun, encouraging manner.
– Teaching Responsibility: encourage children to learn and perform basic chores (e.g., tidying up, organizing toys) in an age-appropriate way.
– Boundary Setting and Role Modelling: Establish clear, respectful boundaries with the children, guiding them through personal example.
– Communication: Serve as a liaison between the family and school, ensuring parents are informed of important updates.
Home activities:
Help with their bath and their dinner, tiding up the kitchen after dinner.
Helping on the weekend and for occasional dinners if the parents need to go out.
Candidate Profile
– Language Proficiency: Fluent in English or French; knowledge of Italian or French is a plus. The previous nanny was Spanish with an excellent English,
– Experience: Proven track record in working with children,
– Patience, creativity, and a fun approach balanced with discipline.

Required: Qualifications and/or experience. Understanding of the British curriculum.
Accommodation: Live out.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 2.30 to 8.30. Weekend could be required occasionally.
