Description: A client of Euro Placements is looking for an English mother tongue nanny to work with two girls, aged 4 years old and 21 months. The candidate can be flexible with the hours, working evenings and some weekends (weekends would be paid extra)..
She will work alongside the existing American nanny during the week. They will split their hours in such a way that both children are cared for, as they are at very different stages. The 4-year-old is at school and has a long school run and after school activities, whilst the 21 month old is at home all day.
We need someone experienced enough to proxy-parent when the parents travel, and who can travel with the family when they travel abroad (South of France for 2 months in the summer, ski resorts in the winter holidays and multiple trips to the UK throughout the year).
Ideally, the candidate should speak English and preferably Italian. The house is large with lots of steps, so an energetic candidate would be suitable. The environment at home is formal, since parents work from home and working meetings are held in the house.
Requirements: Someone who is very experienced and qualified with impeccable references. Able to work in a formal environment. Must be either a EU citizen or else has the possibility to apply for a valid visa that permits working in Italy/EU. We can help with this process.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 11 to 8pm. Weekends may be required (8 to 12 in the morning or 4pm to 7 pm. Two or three late nights will be expected. You can be required to accompany the family on holidays, with the same working hours.
Salary: 700/900 euro net per week.
Accomodation: Private room and en-suite bathroom, plus a small kitchen when in Florence. Bedroom with small kitchen in France or sharing the family kitchen in France . Hotel room in the UK.
