I began working with Gianna Taccone and the Euro Placement agency approximately 20 years ago. Initially, like all mothers who decide to entrust their children to external, unknown, and foreign young women, I was somewhat apprehensive. However, Gianna and her team’s professionalism and precise, punctual, competent, and notably “human” assistance have been excellent!
We faced challenging moments, but everything was resolved smoothly, especially for my two children. Over the years, they’ve had around 10 different nannies from various continents (Australia, USA, UK, Canada), all of whom were valuable for my children’s linguistic and cultural growth and helped me balance work and family.

Non voleva piu tornare, si è divertita da morire, ha fatto mille amicizie italiani, spagnoli (soprattutto), turchi, etc. Tutto organizzato benissimo, college stupendo, felice del corso di inglese e della sua prof ( ‘ ha invitata a Roma....), attività sportive, gite e anche attività serali .... Staff molto presente e attento e anche simpatico. Alla fine anche la camera in 4 e il bagno al piano è stata una esperienza "di crescita".
Dopo avermi raccontato x 4 ore tutto quello che aveva fatto ;))) mi ha detto " sai mamma in questa esperienza sono diventata piu responsabile. Dovevo tenere in ordine la camera, arrivare puntuale a tutti gli appuntamenti organizzando il mio tempo da sola, gestire i miei soldi e anche farmi la valigia !"
Cosa chiedere di più ???? Grazie mille del consiglio, come sempre eccezionale.... Lo ho già consigliato ad altre mamme !

She didn't want to come back, she had a blast, she made a thousand friends, Italians, Spaniards (especially), Turks, etc Everything very well organised, wonderful college, happy with the English course and her teacher ('she invited her back to Rome to visit....), sports activities, trips and even evening activities. The staff were very present and attentive and also friendly. In the end, even the room for 4 and the bathroom on the floor was a "growth" experience.
After telling me for 4 hours everything she had done ;))) he told me "you know mum, in this experience I became more responsible. I had to keep the room tidy, arrive on time for all appointments, organize my time alone, manage my money and also pack my suitcase!"
What more could you ask for? Thanks so much for the advice, as always exceptional. I have already recommended it to other mothers!

Grazie ad Euro Placements ho trovato una valida maternity nurse che mi ha accompagnata nelle prime settimane di vita della mia terzogenita. Avere una persona su cui contare e che sia riuscita ad entrare subito in sintonia con la nostra famiglia è stato utilissimo e ha reso armoniose e gioiose le giornate passate insieme, alleviando le notti insonni e le preoccupazioni delle prime settimane di madre.

Let me start off by telling you a little bit about myself. I am a 25 year old American woman. I currently live in Buccinasco with my Italian husband. We choose to live in Italy for family and work purposes. I have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, I am certified to teach English with a specialization in teaching children, and speak Italian at a B2 level. Currently, I am working as an English teacher in the mornings and as a Tata (Nanny) in the afternoons.
Euro Placements believed in me from the very beginning. I came into contact with Gianna, the person in charge of their private division, only two months after I moved to Italy. Gianna organised my jobs at a small, cute village right on the lake.
I really enjoyed living there because I like hiking and is a really nice hiking trail you can do to a nearby village and then catch the train back. The other favourite part about my village is the bike trail that takes you all around the lake which is so beautiful and if it is a hot day you can stop off along the lake for a swim and sun bathe.

My name is Kelly G. and I am a 26 year old Australian who has worked in Milan, Italy for 1 year (2004-2005). In 2002 I did my Nanny Award Certificate. When I completed my certificate I decided I was not ready to make the move to another country. I pursued my childcare desires and gained a Certificate 3 in Children’s Services, after this all it took was an add in the paper and I knew I was on my way.
It was a bit scary at first. The thought that within a month I would be working and living in a country that I couldn’t even speak the language, however now I would never look back on my experience with regret.
Leaving your home is a big challenge, however I know that before I had even left I made the right choice and chose the right agency. I had spoken to Euro Placements and felt reassured that she would be there for me, whether it be for work, general information or just a chat. The information pack was amazing as it supplied me with everything I needed to know about my placement and Italy as well as a great list of girls I could contact, meet and form friendships with.
Arriving in Italy was wonderful and although I did not know what to expect the family made me feel welcome and comfortable. My first weekend I was on the phone to the girls from the Euro Placements’ list and already had someone to show me around. I was happy that I made the choice to come overseas and work as a nanny, it also helped that I love kids and the ones I was working with were beautiful in all aspects.
I had been working only a couple of weeks when I made my first of many visits to Euro Placements’ office. My visit was to say hi and to put a name to the face, I stayed for an hour and discovered that I really did have great people behind me and supporting me. As in all jobs you have your good times and bad times. They were there for them all. Euro Placements was my advisor, my support network, even my travel agent. I know that without her support, just knowing that she was behind me, I would have been back in Australia before the six months were up.
To finish I just want to you to know that, it is scary and challenging, however you won’t know unless you give it a go. The places I’ve seen, the people I’ve met, the friends I’ve made are all part of the experience I will never forget. So wherever you choose to go, I say go ahead and do it now.
